ZUOSI JIANG
Born in Shanghai, China and brought up in Beijing during the Cultural Revolution.
Earlier figurative paintings were influenced by the Cultural Revolution.
Most of the paintings produced over the last 20 years are in an abstract expressionist style - oil & acrylic on board or canvas.
Lived in London after first moving to the UK in 1992 and held several one-man exhibitions at a number of London galleries.
Moved to Scarborough in 2014.
First one-man exhibition in Scarborough at Gallery 6 in October 2020.
